The CRISP Self-Insurance Trust, established in December 1995, is designed to provide Workers' Compensation coverage and services for providers of human or social services throughout the State of New York.

The CRISP-SIT mission is "to assist participants in reducing employee accidents and incidents through education and training to effectively control workplace exposures and hazards; to educate participants to minimize physical injuries and the potential loss of earnings suffered by employees and to ultimately contain workers' compensation expenses by a combination of aggressive loss control and claims management."

Program Risk Management, Inc. and PRM Claim Services, Inc. provide program, loss prevention and claim management services to the members of CRISP, in keeping with its mission.
